EASY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE WITH SAGE

EASY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE WITH SAGE

It’s that time of year again where everything ramps up and we sometimes forget to breathe - and this past year and a half, on top of it all, is just plain overload for most.

While we don’t have the antidote for all your, and the worlds burdens, we do believe in the power of giving. So we offer you this, sage inspired mindfulness mediation practice.

SAGE has been known to be a sacred herb for preserving health and well-being. The root of its latin name Salivia Officinalis, is derived from the word meaning "to save" or "to heal.”

To help encourage healing, peace and well being at this time of year, we asked our friend Jocelyn Mason, a ThetaHealer and meditation facilitator, to put together an easy to follow, mindful meditation inspired by our Sage Essential Oil Candle

This practice is for anyone and everyone, beginner, to novice, to just curious. Great to do right before bed, just when you wake up, or when traveling. We hope you enjoy.

1
. Find a comfortable spot where you can settle for a minute or two. Light a LITE + CYCLE sage candle and set an intention- something for you, this is your time.

2. Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Let your awareness land inside.

3. As you breathe in and out, imagine a beautiful, bright light shining down over you, filling you up on the inside and spreading light all throughout your being.

4. Place a hand over your heart and say to yourself, “I am whole, I am well, I am at peace.”

Easy self care rituals like this have wonderful ripple effects. We  create wellbeing not only in ourselves, but for others as well, as we shine our light outward. If meditation seems challenging, start with 1 minute, even just a few breaths can make the difference. Consistency is key!
